Alexis Bittar Brooklyn native, Alexis Bittar launched his eponymous jewelry collections in the early '90s. Wearable pieces are priced within reach of every woman, but collected by a diverse and discerning clientele including Madonna, Karl Lagerfeld, Cameron Diaz and Naomi Watts. Each piece of Bittar's Lucite collection is hand carved, painted and gilded by skilled artisans in his Brooklyn studio. The bold designs have a luminescent glow of color and light, finished with sterling silver, gunmetal, or gold vermeil. His Elements collection features intricate designs with semi-precious stones in unique color combinations, inspired by nature and turn of the century jewels. Alexis Bittar's high style jewelry is regularly featured in fashion magazines including W, Elle, Vogue, and Harper's Bazaar. Career highlights include; designing Burberry's first couture jewelry line, working with Patricia Fields on designing jewelry for "Sex in the City," and winning the Accessories Council's "Rising Star" Award in 2004.
